Kenneth H. Dicken

Ken Dicken is the founder of DICKEN Enterprises, Inc. with over 40 years of experience in systems, over 35 years in management, and over 20 years in healthcare systems.

He is also the Business Director of Strategic Wealth Designers, a regional financial planning company specializing in business succession, executive and group benefits, deferred compensation, estate planning and implementation, minimization of tax impacts, wealth planning, etc., with clients in multiple states.

Through dba, Dicken Properties, Ken sponsored the construction of residential real estate in Spencer County, Kentucky. Additionally, Dicken Entertainment, a dba, is involved with independent film production along with being Co-Founder of Kentucky Film Financiers, a fund investing in Kentucky based independent film production. Finally, Ken is the General Partner of Dicken & Associates, an investment partnership.

In December 2011, Dicken Entertainment's founder, co-founded Saunders-Dicken Productions LLC with Robert Saunders, managing director of Saunders Capital Group, LLC a Venture Capital & Private Equity firm, to invest and distribute independent films and to invest in entertainment industry start-ups, growth, and expansion firms.

In March 2010, Ken engaged with Best Registration and Commercial Connect, LLC an international internet domain registrar and registry for Top Level Domain "shop" as Business Development consultant, advisory board member, and early stage investor.

In May 2007, Ken became CEO of Global Entertainment Enterprises, an internationally focused company providing innovative revenue services to film makers, content managers, and product placements.

Additionally, Ken is the past Director, Business Development for Continuum Technologies, a national full-service on-demand medical transcription service provider for physicians and community hospitals. Founded in 1999, Continuum, aka MediVoxx, is committed to increasing the profitability of its clients including physician practices, clinics, and community hospitals.

He is the past Vice President, Business Development for MedX12, a national healthcare services provider for internet based electronic claims submission and inquiry, member eligibility, and a growing broad range of physician practice services.

Having managed small to large organizations, a few hundred thousand dollars to several billion dollars, with staffs in the hundreds, Ken is a mature seasoned manager, leader, and motivator whose emphasis is on quality, integrity, and ethics.

He has held positions with:

Ken is/was a board member and co-founder of Real Estate Venture Exchange (2013 – present), a member of several Angel Investor groups (2011 – present including Enterprise Angles, INnovation Angels, Kentucky Angels), an accelerator mentor (2011 – present for Velocity SI, XLerate Health, and Slated New Start), a past board member of the Venture Connectors pka Venture Club of Louisville (2003 – 2014) and Vice President of Sponsorships of the Venture Club of Louisville (2004 – 2014), a founding member of the Bluegrass Independent Film Festival Planning Committee (2005 – 2008), a past board member of the Greater Louisville Health Enterprises Network (1999 – 2003), a member of the Entrepreneurship Council at the University of Louisville College of Business & Public Administration (Dec 2000 – 2005), and a member of Greater Louisville Inc. council for start-up company evaluation (Oct 2000 – 2003). Previously, he served as the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the University of Louisville's Mathematics Department (1996 - 2000), President of St. Helen's School Board (1981-1983) and was a computer consultant to the Metro United Way's - Family and Children's Agency in 1983.

In 2023, Ken was recognized by the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

In 2000, Ken was a regional finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Ken holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, an Associate of Arts Degree in Natural Sciences, and a Certificate in Data Processing, all from the University of Louisville.
